Coalition Response to Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) Query
The ACCME requested comment on a variety of issues surrounding commercial support of CME including the question of whether it should be banned. This is the Coalition's response. View all responses.
Conflict of Interest Conference, Washington DC
The Coalition, jointly with the Center for Medicine in the Public Interest (CMPI) supported a conference in Washington featuring several prominent experts discussing the conflict of interest issue. American Medical Association Proposal on Commercial Support of Continuing Medical Education (CME)
The AMA's Council on Judicial and Ethical Affairs (CEJA) proposed that Commercial support for CME be banned. The Coalition responded in opposition to the proposal. View PDF.

Coalition's Statement to Institute of Medicine (IOM) on Conflict of Interest
The IOM is in the process of preparing a report on Conflict of Interest in connection with research and CME. It is likely to influence future legislation and ACCME governance. The Coalition filed these comments.
